Alloys

Cr- and Mo-alloyed engineering steel, which is supplied in the annealed, quenched and tempered condition. It has good toughness and fatigue strength. It is mainly used for components subject to heavy loads and vehicle construction.

Cr- and Mo-alloyed engineering steel, which is supplied in the annealed, quenched and tempered condition.  Due to the higher carbon concentration, steel 4150 achieves a higher hardness than steel 4140 after surface hardening. It has good toughness and fatigue strength. It is mainly used for components subject to heavy loads and vehicle construction.

Cr-, Ni-, and Mo-alloyed engineering steel, which is supplied in the annealed or quenched and tempered condition. It has very good toughness and fatigue strength. It is used for highly stressed components mainly in automobile and engine construction.

Cr- and V-alloyed engineering steel, which is supplied in the annealed condition. It normally used for general mechanical engineering, automotive and gear parts. However, due to the good hardenability it is also used for hand tools, knives, and ejector pins.

cropped-favicon8620 (1.6523 / 20NiCrMo2-2)

Ni-, Cr-, and Mo-alloyed engineering steel, that is intended for case hardening. Due to its increased toughness potential, the material is used for highly stressed components.
